Message from Principal Thompson

Stallion Families,

Thank you so much to all the families who helped donate to Stallion Strong this year! I am so thankful for your generosity and support of our students. I enjoyed my time with the parents of 3B who met their goal of 100 % participation.

Just a few things happening on campus that we want to ensure you know about:

  1. This Monday, October 11th we will be conducting a short online survey through Panorama Education with our Stallions in regard to their Social/ Emotional learning skills such as self-management and self-efficacy. This data is crucial as we work to meet not only student academic needs but also social/emotional needs. The feedback will provide invaluable insights into student experiences and how to improve and adapt our school to their needs.  If you have any question or concerns about the survey administration, don’t hesitate to contact Ms. Booth, our 3-5 school counselor at 972-749-7319 or dbooth@dallasisd.org.
  2. Additionally, next week we will have our first lockdown drill for the school year. Lockdown drills are important so that we can prepare and educate our students about the proper and safe way to act in case of an emergency. Please reach out to your teacher if you have any questions. Thanks!

Stallion Strong,

Principal Thompson
