Message from Principal Thompson

Stallion Families,

This week has been full of wacky tacky fun and learning in each corner. Our parent information nights have been off to a great start, and our teachers have really enjoyed getting partnered with our families!

Next week we will move into our beginning of year data screeners with our MAP testing window. This adaptive assessment will provide our teachers with important data that will direct small group instruction. Please remind your students they may not know all the answers, but they should try their best. We can't wait to see all our Stallions grow throughout the year!

As a last reminder, no school on Monday for Labor Day! Enjoy the time with your families.

Stallion Strong,

Principal Thompson

NEW ANNOUCEMENTS
NEXT WEEK IS MAP TESTING!

Next week we will begin our Beginning of the Year assessments.

NWEA MAP Growth is an adaptive assessment used for measuring achievement and growth in K-12 math, reading, language usage, and science. This assessment provides teachers with accurate and actionable evidence to help target instruction for each student or groups of students, regardless of how far above or below they are from their grade level. It also connects to the largest set of instructional content providers, giving educators flexibility in curriculum choices.

Please don't block our neighbors' driveways!

Dear Families,

As we get into our routine of carpool pick up and drop, please be mindful of our neighbors' driveways. We want to ensure a safe and friendly experience for all, so please be cognizant of our neighbors

Hillbrook becomes one-way after we take a left from Lake Circle. Lake Circle is a two-way street, so please stay in one lane while on Lake Circle. For drop off and pick-up, please stay in the right lane on Lake Circle in order to enter the red lane once on Hillbrook.

Thank you!

RAINY DAY DISMISSAL PROCEDURE for PARENT-PICKUP WALKERS
  • Rainy Day dismissal will be decided by 2:00pm.
  • It is imperative that you announce your child, so that teachers know when to send your child down to you.
  • There will be support staff and administrators at all exits to ensure students make it safely to their parent/guardian.
  • All exits will remain the same on rainy days with the exception of 1st grade. They will exit out of the side door of the new wing under the sky bridge.
So what's for lunch!?

Questions about cafeteria food? All Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner meals are listed in the MealViewer App! Download the app to your smartphone, or click here to visit the website.

4th Grade Campus Clean-up

This school year, a different grade will be asked to help with a campus clean-up each month and September will be our fourth graders!

Come help us on Sunday, September 26th from 4-5pm by picking up trash on the Lakewood campus so the school is sparkling clean. Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
