Notably, we will continue using Google Classroom, however your view and format will be updated from last week and consistent across all grade levels. Also, your student will now have graded work. Details in the video.

Chromebook Distribution & March 30 - April 3 Weekly Reminder

Lakewood Families,

 

Please note the below March 30- April 3 Community Reminders from Ms. Wilke:

  • Attendance is taken by viewing your teacher’s daily message in Dojo
  • If you have not yet received a Google Classroom invitation please contact your teacher
  • Materials for next week will be posted in the Google Classroom (links on Lakewood Dreams) by Sunday at noon.
  • These will include campus lessons (recommended) and Dallas ISD resources (optional)
  • Technology Pick-Up from 9am-2pm on Monday. Only those meeting qualifications will receive a laptop at this time

Ms Wilke will continue to communicate via email as we navigate this new normal.  Thank you to our community for working together through this first week, and congratulations we have made it to Friday!

The Lakewood Elementary PTA has an electronic newsletter called the "eNews" that is sent out each Monday during the school year.  The eNews provides information, links and the upcoming school calendar events that you will need throughout the school year.  There are also reminders and occasional eBlasts of important announcements as needed. 

To receive eNews all you need to do is to setup an account on our PTA website.

 


Interested in Taking a Tour of
Lakewood Elementary?

If you are interested in sending your child to Lakewood Elementary and would like to have a guided tour of our the school, group tours take place monthly beginning in October, and continue through May (no summer tours). Tours are the second Thursday of the month at 1:00pm.  No appointment necessary, but please register at the front desk upon arrival.
